The Bogachiel River Basin is home to one of the four temperate rainforests on the Olympic Peninsula. The river itself flows down from its headwaters on Bogachiel Peak, west through Olympic National Park into the Quillayute River.
Our map shows the entire river basin in incredible detail generated using high resolution LiDAR imagery. This map includes tree canopy data so you can see the dense rainforest in the river valley as your eyes wander over the terrain. You'll also notice trails snaking along the river and into the mountains as it flows through Olympic National Park.
Your map is made to order and will arrive in 1 to 2 weeks.
Are these prints flat or 3D (they are flat!) and answers to other common questions can be found in our FAQ.
The data for our maps is gathered using LiDAR sensors. This lets us resolve terrain detail down to about 2 feet wide, which is 9x better than existing maps.
Our maps display the terrain, with nothing else getting in the way. You can see glaciers, forests, wandering rivers, and even trails as they snake through the mountains.
From options like aluminum and acrylic to wood-mounted, we've selected the highest quality mediums to make your map pop.
