Poor Resolution

Disappointed that the resolution of this map 'in person' is significantly lower than what I expected based on the online images and marketing materials. My old-fashioned, 3D plastic topo maps and detalied topo flat maps of the Tetons are of better quality, clarity, and usefulness. A poor price-to-value ratio in my opinion, given the cost of the map.
Note from Ramble: Our aluminum maps print at around 200 dpi, when viewed within 12 inches a person with good eyesight can see some fuzziness. For our highest resolution prints, our wood and acrylic options print at around 300 dpi. All of our options are designed to look sharp on the wall from a normal viewing distance.

"Stunning"

I purchased this map for my husband for his birthday/retirement. He has worked on the North Kaibab and Arizona Strip for 30 years. This map encompasses the vast majority of the area where he has spent most of his life.
The detail of this map is so fine that he can see specific locations across the area and recall events from throughout his career. Upon receiving the map he has spent a little time each day staring at it. His summation is that the map is simply “stunning”. Having the ability to look at this map and bring back memories makes this piece of art priceless to us. Money well spent.

Vivid Color, Incredible Detail

This map combines aerial imagery with high resolution elevation data to draw you in with its vivid colors and incredible detail.

The dramatic line of the Teton Range is on the western edge of the park, with valleys slicing west to east through the mountains and draining into the deep blue lakes that dot the base of the range. You can see the Snake River as it wanders along the high plains after draining out of the eastern edge of Jackson Lake.
